Śeṣoditya-Sūrya-nyāsa, Soma-sādhana, Graha-pūjā, and Bhauma-vrata-vidhi

करवीरं जपाशालिकुशश्यामाकतंडुलान् । तिलवेणुयवांश्चैव निक्षिपेत्सलिले शुभे ॥ ३९ ॥

karavīraṃ japāśālikuśaśyāmākataṃḍulān | tilaveṇuyavāṃścaiva nikṣipetsalile śubhe || 39 ||

Ke dalam air yang suci hendaknya dimasukkan: bunga oleander (karavīra), kembang sepatu (japā), beras śāli, rumput kuśa, biji śyāmāka, wijen, bambu (veṇu), serta jelai (yava).
