It introduces a formal mantra-vidhi (ritual procedure) for worship of a “Threefold Form,” indicating that disciplined upāsanā guided by scripture is a legitimate means for attaining both worldly aims and spiritually aligned results.
Bhakti here is expressed as structured worship—“proper propitiation” through mantras—showing devotion not merely as emotion but as faithful, methodical practice aligned with prescribed rules (vidhāna).
The verse foregrounds mantra-application and ritual procedure (vidhi), a technical concern aligned with Vedāṅga-oriented discipline—how mantras are used correctly in worship to produce intended results.
