Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira
It emphasizes adhikāra (eligibility) and rahasya (guarded transmission): mantra-vidhi is sacred power and must be entrusted only to sincere, properly authorized seekers.
It protects devotional practice from misuse—true bhakti requires integrity and guidance, so the mantra is not given to deceitful people who would treat it as a tool for ego or harm.
The practical principle of śāstra-niyama in mantra-upadeśa: correct procedure (vidhi) and qualified transmission are essential for effective, dharmic ritual practice.
