Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a disciplined upāsanā method: steady the mind through a lamp-focused setting, meditate on the deity, perform mantra-japa, and culminate in darśana—an inner vision of Gaṇeśvara—showing how ritual supports direct devotional experience.
Bhakti here is practical: devotion is expressed through dhyāna (loving contemplation) and japa (repetition with faith), leading to a tangible sense of the deity’s presence (darśana), rather than remaining only conceptual.
It highlights ritual procedure and applied mantra practice—how to arrange the worship space (in front of a lamp), combine dhyāna with japa, and use a concrete aid (dīpa) as a focus for visualization, reflecting technical, instruction-oriented sacred praxis.
