Graha–Ketu–Utpāta Lakṣaṇas: Solar/Lunar Omens, Comets, Eclipses, and Calendar Rules
अवृष्टिशस्त्रभयदः पीड्यं देवा नृपांतकृत् । पितृद्विदैवधातॄणां भिद्यन्ते गंडतारकाः ॥ ३५ ॥
avṛṣṭiśastrabhayadaḥ pīḍyaṃ devā nṛpāṃtakṛt | pitṛdvidaivadhātṝṇāṃ bhidyante gaṃḍatārakāḥ || 35 ||
Ketika para dewa tertindih penderitaan, mereka menimbulkan takut karena kekeringan dan senjata, serta menyebabkan kejatuhan para raja. Bagi para pembenci Pitṛ dan penentang tatanan ilahi, pertanda buruk ‘gaṇḍa-tāraka’ pun pecah bermunculan.
