It frames human life (including household harmony) within an ordered cosmic scheme of measures, reminding the seeker that worldly relations and experiences unfold within a larger, regulated order (kāla/saṅkhyā) that ultimately points toward mokṣa.
By placing domestic affection and worldly gradations inside a structured cosmic order, the verse supports a bhakti-oriented insight: stable dharmic life (including marital concord) becomes a foundation from which one turns the mind toward the Supreme beyond all measures.
It reflects technical enumeration and measurement traditions (saṅkhyā/gaṇanā used in jyotiṣa and cosmological calculation), where named units and hierarchical scales are listed and applied in sequence.
