लग्ने शेष्टमगेष्टेशे तनुस्थे पंचवत्सरम् । कवीज्ययोगे सौम्याब्जौ लग्ने मृत्यौ च स्वेषवः ॥ ११८ ॥
lagne śeṣṭamageṣṭeśe tanusthe paṃcavatsaram | kavījyayoge saumyābjau lagne mṛtyau ca sveṣavaḥ || 118 ||
Bila penguasa lagna dan penguasa rumah kedelapan sama-sama berada di tubuh (lagna), maka usia dinyatakan lima tahun. Dan bila Venus bersatu dengan Jupiter, serta Merkurius dan Bulan berada di lagna, maka kematian ditandai melalui lagna itu sendiri.
