इष्टकर्मवधेमूलं च्युतं मिश्रात्कलांतरे । मानघ्नकालश्चातीतकालाघ्नफलसंहृताः ॥ ३९ ॥
iṣṭakarmavadhemūlaṃ cyutaṃ miśrātkalāṃtare | mānaghnakālaścātītakālāghnaphalasaṃhṛtāḥ || 39 ||
Akar yang merusak pahala dari laku yang diinginkan, bila lahir dari niat yang bercampur, pada waktunya akan gugur dengan sendirinya. Dan ketika masa yang mematahkan keangkuhan tiba, buah yang telah dikikis oleh berlalunya waktu pun terkumpul habis, yakni lenyap seluruhnya.
