Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
लिडतीते परोक्षे स्यात् श्वस्तने लुङ् भविष्यति । स्यादनद्यतने लृटू च भविष्यति तु धातुतः ॥ २३ ॥
liḍatīte parokṣe syāt śvastane luṅ bhaviṣyati | syādanadyatane lṛṭū ca bhaviṣyati tu dhātutaḥ || 23 ||
Untuk perbuatan lampau yang tidak disaksikan langsung digunakan lakāra ‘liṭ’; untuk perbuatan esok hari dipakai ‘luṅ’. Demikian pula untuk masa depan yang tidak segera, menurut akar kata kerja digunakan ‘lṛṭ’ dan ‘lṛṅ’.
