इति श्रीमार्कण्डेयपुराणे वैवस्वतमन्वन्तरे साप्तसप्ततितमोऽध्यायः ।
अष्टसप्ततितमोऽध्यायः— ७८
मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततस्तं तुष्टुवुर्देवास्तथा देवर्षयो रविम् ।
वाग्भिरोड्यमशेषस्य त्रैलोक्यस्य समागताः ॥
iti śrī-mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇe vaivasvata-manvantare saptasaptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ / aṣṭasaptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ—78 / mārkaṇḍeya uvāca / tatas taṃ tuṣṭuvur devās tathā devarṣayo ravim / vāgbhir oḍyam aśeṣasya trailokyasya samāgatāḥ
Demikian berakhir bab ketujuh puluh tujuh dalam Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya Purāṇa, pada Vaivasvata Manvantara. Bab 78 dimulai. Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: Kemudian para dewa dan para resi ilahi, berhimpun dari seluruh tiga dunia, memuji Ravi (Surya) dengan persembahan ujaran berupa kidung pujian.
