Adhyaya 50 — Mind-Born Progeny, Svayambhuva Manu’s Lineage, and Brahmā’s Ordinance to Duḥsaha (Alakṣmī’s Retinue)
Creation is framed not only as material production but as the arising of governing principles—saṅkalpa (intent) and dharma (order). The presence of the Kumāras highlights the ideal of dispassionate wisdom preceding worldly engagement.
Primarily Sarga (primary creation), with seeds of Vaṃśa (lineages) through the mention of primordial progenitors and mind-born sages.
Saṅkalpa symbolizes the subtle impulse that initiates manifestation; dharma symbolizes the harmonizing law that prevents creation from collapsing into chaos—together implying that cosmos is sustained by intention disciplined by order.
