Adhyaya 45 — Jaimini’s Cosmological Questions and the Opening of Markandeya’s Account of Primary Creation
सम्भवन्ति ततो ह्यापश्चासन् वै ता रसात्मिकाः ।
रसमात्रन्तु ता ह्यापो रूपमात्रं समावृणोत् ॥
sambhavanti tato hy āpaś cāsan vai tā rasātmikāḥ | rasamātraṃ tu tā hy āpo rūpamātraṃ samāvṛṇot ||
Dari itu sungguh lahir āpas (air), yang berhakikat rasa. Dan air itu pun, karena memiliki sifat rasa, menyelubungi rupa dari segala sisi.
