राजन निवेशे बुद्धिमें वर्तते पुत्रकारणात्‌ । वरये त्वां महीपाल लोपामुद्रां प्रयच्छ मे,“राजन! पुत्रोत्पत्तिके लिये मेरा विवाह करनेका विचार है। अतः महीपाल! मैं आपकी कन्याका वरण करता हूँ। आप लोपामुद्राको मुझे दे दीजिये”

rājan niveśe buddhir me vartate putrakāraṇāt | varaye tvāṁ mahīpāla lopāmudrāṁ prayaccha me ||

“Wahai Raja, demi memperoleh putra, tekadku telah mantap untuk memasuki āśrama kehidupan berumah tangga. Karena itu, wahai penguasa bumi, aku memilih putrimu Lopāmudrā sebagai mempelai; anugerahkanlah ia kepadaku.”
