Dhaumya’s Enumeration of Eastern Tīrthas
Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana
एते ऋषिवरा: सर्वे त्वत्प्रतीक्षास्तपोधना: । एभि: सह महाराज तीथर्थान्यितान्यनुव्रज
ete ṛṣivarāḥ sarve tvatpratīkṣās tapodhanāḥ | ebhiḥ saha mahārāja tīrthāny itāny anuvraja ||
“Semua ṛṣi utama ini, yang kaya daya tapa, sedang menantimu. Wahai mahārāja, berjalanlah bersama mereka menuju tīrtha-tīrtha (lain) itu.”
नारद उवाच
A ruler should honor and accompany spiritually accomplished sages; progress in dharma is supported by humility, good company (sat-saṅga), and pilgrimage undertaken under wise guidance.
Nārada informs the king that eminent ascetics are waiting for him and urges him to join them in continuing a pilgrimage journey to various tīrthas.
