Damayantī’s Lament, Serpent-Seizure, Rescue by the Hunter, and the Curse

तैः समेत्य विनिश्चित्य सो<नुज्ञातो महीपते । ययौ मिथुनमारोप्य विदर्भास्तेन वाहिना,राजन्‌! उनसे मिलकर इस विषयपर भलीभाँति विचार करके उन मन्त्रियोंकी आज्ञा ले सारथि वार्ष्णेयने दोनों बालकोंको रथपर बैठाकर विदर्भ देशको प्रस्थान किया

taiḥ sametya viniścitya so 'nujñāto mahīpate | yayau mithunam āropya vidarbhās tena vāhinā ||

Wahai Raja, setelah bertemu dengan mereka dan mempertimbangkan perkara itu dengan saksama, ia memperoleh persetujuan mereka. Lalu sais Vārṣṇeya menaikkan kedua anak itu ke atas kereta dan berangkat dengan kendaraan itu menuju negeri Vidarbha.
