True moral authority is recognized not by power but by character: Yudhiṣṭhira honors Vidura as ‘another Dharma,’ implying that ethical counsel and integrity are embodiments of dharma worthy of reverence and reliance.
Yudhiṣṭhira addresses Sañjaya and expresses intense sorrow and longing as he remembers Vidura—his brother and trusted well-wisher—praising him as a living image of dharma and confessing that the memory makes his heart feel torn.
