स दृष्टवा बाणवर्ष तु मोघीभूतं धनंजय: । परम विस्मयं चक्रे साधु साध्विति चाब्रवीत्,अपनी की हुई सारी बाण-वर्षा व्यर्थ हुई देख धनंजयको बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ। वे किरातको साधुवाद देने लगे और बोले--
sa dṛṣṭvā bāṇavarṣa tu moghībhūtaṃ dhanañjayaḥ | parama-vismayaṃ cakre sādhu sādhv iti cābravīt ||
Melihat hujan panahnya menjadi sia-sia, Dhanañjaya diliputi keheranan yang mendalam. Ia memuji Kirāta, berulang-ulang berseru, “Sādhu! Sādhu!”
