तौ मुक्तौ सायकौ ताभ्यां सम॑ तत्र निपेततुः । मूकस्य गात्रे विस्तीर्णे शैलसंहनने तदा,उन दोनोंके छोड़े हुए वे दोनों बाण एक ही साथ मूक दानवके पर्वत-सदृश विशाल शरीरमें लगे

Transliteration

tau muktau sāyakau tābhyāṃ samaṃ tatra nipetatūḥ | mūkasya gātre vistīrṇe śailasaṃhanane tadā |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Kedua anak panah yang dilepaskan oleh mereka berdua jatuh pada saat yang sama, menancap pada tubuh Mūka sang raksasa—lebar, besar, dan sekeras batu karang.
