तत एकान्तमुन्नीय पाराशर्यों युधिष्ठिरम् । अब्रवीदुपपन्नार्थमिदं वाक्यविशारद:,तदनन्तर प्रवचनकुशल पराशरनन्दन व्यासजी युधिष्ठिरको एकान्तमें ले गये और उनसे यह युक्तियुक्त वचन बोले--
tata ekāntam unnīya pārāśaryo yudhiṣṭhiram | abravīd upapannārtham idaṁ vākyaviśāradaḥ ||
Kemudian Pārāśarya (Vyāsa) membawa Yudhiṣṭhira ke tempat yang sunyi; sang resi yang mahir bertutur itu menyampaikan kata-kata yang tepat dan bernalar.
