“Semoga kebaikan menyertaimu. Bawalah kedua orang itu kemari, dan bawakan pula air. Anakku, engkaulah satu-satunya tumpuan bagi kami semua, para kerabat yang berduka.”
यक्ष उवाच
The verse highlights ethical responsibility: one who has capacity and steadiness should become a refuge for suffering relatives and dependents, acting with compassion and prompt service (bringing help and necessities like water).
In the Yakṣa episode of the Vana Parva, the Yakṣa addresses a person being tested, instructing him to bring two others and to fetch drinking water, while emphasizing that he is the only support for the distressed members of their group.
