नकुलस्तु तथेत्युक्त्वा भ्रातुर्ज्येछ्सल्थ शासनात् । प्राद्रवद् यत्र पानीयं शीघ्रं चैवान्वपद्यत,नकुल “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर बड़े भाईकी आज्ञासे शीघ्रतापूर्वक गये और जहाँ जलाशय था, वहाँ तुरंत पहुँच गये
nakulas tu tathety uktvā bhrātur jyeṣṭhasya śāsanāt | prādravad yatra pānīyaṃ śīghraṃ caivānvapadyata ||
Nakula menjawab, “Baik,” lalu menaati perintah kakak sulungnya. Ia bergegas menuju tempat air berada dan segera sampai di sumber air itu.
वैशम्पायन उवाच

After being instructed by his eldest brother, Nakula agrees and immediately runs to the place where drinking water is available, quickly arriving at the water-source.
