सूर्य उवाच नते पिता न ते माता गुरवो वा शुचिस्मिते । प्रभवन्ति वरारोहे भद्रं ते शूणु मे वच:,भगवान् सूर्यने कहा--शुचिस्मिते! वरारोहे! तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। तुम मेरी बात सुनो। तुम्हारे पिता, माता अथवा अन्य गुरुजन तुम्हें (इस कामसे रोकनेमें) समर्थ नहीं हैं
sūrya uvāca | na te pitā na te mātā guravo vā śucismite | prabhavanti varārohe bhadraṃ te śṛṇu me vacaḥ ||
Surya berkata: “Wahai yang senyumnya suci, wahai gadis mulia—semoga kebaikan menyertaimu. Dengarkan perkataanku. Dalam perkara ini, ayahmu, ibumu, bahkan para tetua dan gurumu pun tidak berkuasa menahanmu.”
