युधिछिर उवाच त्वं भानो जगतत्नक्षुस्त्वमात्मा सर्वदेहिनाम् । त्वं योनि: सर्वभूतानां त्वमाचार: क्रियावताम्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--सूर्यदेव! आप सम्पूर्ण जगतके नेत्र तथा समस्त प्राणियोंके आत्मा हैं। आप ही सब जीवोंके उत्पत्तिस्थान और कर्मानुष्ठानमें लगे हुए पुरुषोंके सदाचार हैं
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: tvaṃ bhāno jagat-tanakṣuḥ tvam ātmā sarva-dehinām | tvaṃ yoniḥ sarva-bhūtānāṃ tvam ācāraḥ kriyāvatām ||
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Wahai Bhānu, engkaulah mata seluruh jagat, dan engkaulah Ātman bagi semua yang berjasad. Engkaulah sumber kelahiran segala makhluk, dan engkaulah tolok ukur laku benar bagi mereka yang tekun berbuat dharma.”
