अथ सर्वे रणं मुक्त्वा प्रयाता: खेचरा: दिवम् | अस्मानेवाभिकर्षन्तो दीनान् मुदितमानसा:,फिर तो सारे गन्धर्व रणभूमि छोड़कर आकाशगमें उड़ गये और मन-ही-मन आनन्दका अनुभव करते हुए हम दीन-दुखियोंको अपनी ओर घसीटने लगे
atha sarve raṇaṁ muktvā prayātāḥ khecarāḥ divam | asmān evābhikarṣanto dīnān muditamānasāḥ ||
Lalu semua Gandharwa pengembara langit itu meninggalkan medan laga dan terbang naik ke angkasa. Dengan hati bersorak, mereka mulai menyeret kami—yang papa dan tak berdaya—ke arah mereka.
दुर्योधन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical consequence of arrogance and wrongdoing: those who act from pride can be swiftly reduced to helplessness, while their opponents—here the Gandharvas—act with confident superiority, underscoring the moral reversal that follows adharma.
After the clash, the Gandharvas stop fighting on the ground, ascend into the sky, and forcibly drag Duryodhana and his party along, while Duryodhana describes their own miserable condition and the Gandharvas’ triumphant mood.
