सम्पूज्यमानस्त्रिदशैरभिवाद्य महेश्वरम्‌ । शुशुभे कृत्तिकापुत्र: प्रकीर्णाशुरिवांशुमान्‌,उस समय देवतालोग कृत्तिकानन्दन स्कन्ददेवकी स्तुति और पूजा करने लगे। कुमार स्कन्द अपने पिता महेश्वरको प्रणाम करके सब ओर किरणें बिखेरनेवाले अंशुमाली सूर्यकी भाँति शोभा पाने लगे

Transliteration

sampūjyamānas tridaśair abhivādya maheśvaram | śuśubhe kṛttikāputraḥ prakīrṇāśur ivāṃśumān ||

Translation

Ketika para dewa memujanya dengan pemujaan, Skanda putra Kṛttikā terlebih dahulu menunduk hormat kepada Maheśvara. Lalu ia tampak bersinar—laksana matahari cemerlang yang menebarkan sinarnya ke segala penjuru.
