मातर ऊचु: परिरक्षाम भद्ठं ते प्रजा: स्कन्द यथेच्छसि । त्वया नो रोचते स्कन्द सहवासभ्षिरं प्रभो,माताओंने कहा--स्कन्द! जैसी तुम्हारी इच्छा है, उसके अनुसार हम उन संतानोंकी रक्षा अवश्य करेंगी। शक्तिशाली कुमार! हमें दीर्घकालतक तुम्हारे साथ रहनेकी इच्छा है

mātara ūcuḥ—parirakṣāma bhadraṁ te prajāḥ skanda yathecchasi | tvayā no rocate skanda sahavāsabhīraṁ prabho ||

Para Ibu berkata: “Wahai Skanda, semoga kesejahteraan bagimu; sesuai kehendakmu, kami akan melindungi keturunan itu. Wahai Tuhan, Kumara yang perkasa, kami merindukan tinggal dalam kebersamaan denganmu untuk waktu yang lama.”
