Satyabhāmā’s Consolation of Draupadī
अथास्य शैलशिखरं केशी क्रुद्धो व्यवासृजत् । तदा पतन्तं सम्प्रेक्ष्य शैलशूजं शतक्रतु:
athāsya śailaśikharaṃ keśī kruddho vyavāsṛjat | tadā patantaṃ samprekṣya śailaśṛṅgaṃ śatakratuḥ ||
Lalu Keśī yang murka melemparkan puncak gunung ke arahnya. Melihat bongkah batu itu meluncur jatuh, Śatakratu (Indra) memandangnya dengan cemas.
युधिषछ्िर उवाच
The verse highlights how anger (krodha) can drive one to disproportionate, destructive action; such loss of restraint becomes ethically suspect and draws the attention of higher powers, implying the need for self-control even amid conflict.
Keśī, in fury, throws a mountain-peak at his opponent; as the massive rock falls, Indra (Śatakratu) observes the dangerous turn of events.
