अभितसश्चापि गन्तव्यं मया स्वर्ग द्विजोत्तम,विप्रवर! पूर्वजन्ममें मेरे ऊपर जो कुछ बीता था, वह सब मैंने आपसे कह सुनाया। अब इस जीवनके पश्चात् मुझे स्वर्गलोकमें जाना है
abhitaś cāpi gantavyaṃ mayā svarga dvijottama | vipravara! pūrvajanmani me mayy upari yad yat samabhavat tat sarvaṃ te mayā kathitaṃ śrutam | idānīm asya jīvanasyānte mayā svargalokaṃ gantavyam |
Wahai yang terbaik di antara para dwija, wahai brāhmaṇa utama! Kini aku harus berangkat menuju surga. Segala yang terjadi padaku dalam kelahiran lampau—yang membentuk arah hidupku—telah kukatakan. Dan ketika hidup ini berakhir, jalanku telah ditetapkan menuju alam surga.
व्याध उवाच
The passage underscores karmic continuity and moral accountability: one’s present condition and future destination (such as heaven) are linked to prior actions and the truthful acknowledgment of one’s life-story.
