एतेषु यस्तु वर्तेत सम्यगेव द्विजोत्तम । भवेयुरग्नयस्तस्य परिचीणर्णास्तु नित्यश: । गार्हस्थ्ये वर्तमानस्य एव धर्म: सनातन:,द्विजश्रेष्ठस जो इन सबके प्रति उत्तम बर्ताव करेगा, उस गृहस्थ-धर्मका पालन करनेवालेके द्वारा सदा सब अग्नियोंकी सेवा सम्पन्न होती रहेगी। यही सनातन धर्म है

eteṣu yastu varteta samyageva dvijottama | bhaveyur agnayastasya paricīrṇāstu nityaśaḥ | gārhasthye vartamānasya eva dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ ||

Wahai yang terbaik di antara kaum dwija! Siapa pun yang, sambil menjalani hidup berumah tangga, berperilaku benar terhadap semuanya ini, maka seakan-akan semua api suci telah senantiasa dipelihara dan dilayani olehnya menurut tata cara. Inilah dharma abadi bagi seorang grihastha.
