Adhyāya 208: Aṅgirasī-kanyāḥ

Enumeration of Aṅgiras’ daughters and attribute-names

आस्तिका मानहीनाश्च द्विजातिजनपूजका: । श्रुतवृत्तोपसम्पन्ना: सन्त: स्वर्गनिवासिन:,जो आस्तिक, अहंकारशून्य, ब्राह्मणोंका समादर करनेवाले, विद्वान्‌ और सदाचारसे सम्पन्न हैं, वे श्रेष्ठ पुरुष स्वर्गमें निवास करते हैं

āstikā mānahīnāś ca dvijātijanapūjakāḥ | śrutavṛttopasampannāḥ santaḥ svarganivāsinaḥ ||

Mereka yang beriman (āstika), bebas dari kesombongan, menghormati kaum dwija, serta diperkaya oleh pengetahuan śruti dan laku benar—orang-orang saleh demikian berdiam di surga.
