एकपत्न्या यदुक्तो5सि गच्छ त्वं मिथिलामिति । जानाम्येतदहं सर्व यदर्थ त्वमिहागत:,उस पतिव्रता देवीने जो आपसे यह कहकर भेजा है कि “तुम मिथिलापुरीको जाओ।!' वह सब मैं जानता हूँ। आप जिस उद्देश्यसे यहाँ पधारे हैं, वह भी मुझे मालूम है

ekapatnyā yad ukto 'si gaccha tvaṃ mithilām iti | jānāmy etad ahaṃ sarvaṃ yad-arthaṃ tvam ihāgataḥ ||

Sang pemburu berkata: “Aku mengetahui semuanya. Aku tahu bahwa istri yang setia itu mengutusmu dengan pesan, ‘Pergilah ke Mithilā.’ Dan aku juga tahu tujuan kedatanganmu ke sini.”
