शीतश्च वायु: प्रववी प्रयाणे तस्य धीमत: । विपांसुलां महीं कुर्वन्‌ ववर्ष च सुरेश्वर:,उन बुद्धिमान्‌ राजा कुवलाश्वचके यात्राकालमें शीतल वायु चलने लगी। देवराज इन्द्र धरतीकी धूल शान्त करनेके लिये वर्षा करने लगे

Transliteration

śītaś ca vāyuḥ pravavī prayāṇe tasya dhīmataḥ | vipāṃsulāṃ mahīṃ kurvan vavarṣa ca sureśvaraḥ ||

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya berkata— Ketika raja yang bijaksana itu berangkat menempuh perjalanan, angin sejuk pun mulai berhembus. Lalu Indra, penguasa para dewa, menurunkan hujan, meredakan debu di bumi dan menjadikan tanah bebas dari kepulan pasir—tanda mujur yang melindungi, menyokong upaya dharma, dan meringankan lelah perjalanan.
