Dharma-vyādha’s Analysis of Moral Decline and the Mahābhūta–Guṇa Schema (धर्मव्याधोपदेशः)
ब्राह्मणांस्तोषयेद् यस्तु तुष्यन्ते तस्य देवता: । वचनाच्चापि विप्राणां स्वर्गलोकमवाप्लनुयात्,जो ब्राह्मणोंको संतुष्ट करता है, उसपर सब देवता संतुष्ट रहते हैं। ब्राह्मणोंके वचनसे अर्थात् आशीर्वादसे भी मनुष्य स्वर्गलोक पा सकता है
brāhmaṇāṁs toṣayed yas tu tuṣyante tasya devatāḥ | vacanāc cāpi viprāṇāṁ svargalokam avāpnu yāt ||
Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: “Siapa yang menyenangkan para brāhmaṇa, ia pun menyenangkan para dewa. Dan melalui kata-kata para brāhmaṇa—yakni berkat mereka—seseorang dapat mencapai alam surga.”
