Shloka 11
ब्राह्मणने कहा--'राजाधिराज! आपके पास राजा सेदुकने मुझे भेजा है, तभी आपसे गुरु-दक्षिणा माँगने आया हूँ। उनके उपदेशके अनुसार ही मैंने आपसे याचना की है!
brāhmaṇa uvāca— rājādhirāja! tava samīpaṁ rājā sedukena māṁ preṣitaḥ; tasmād ahaṁ tvattaḥ guru-dakṣiṇāṁ yācitum āgataḥ. tasyaiva upadeśānusāreṇa mayā tvayi yācanā kṛtā.
Sang brāhmaṇa berkata: “Wahai maharaja di antara para raja! Raja Seduka telah mengutusku kepadamu; sebab itu aku datang memohon guru-dakṣiṇā. Sesuai perintahnya sajalah aku mengajukan permintaan ini kepadamu.”
