Kuvalāśva’s Lineage and Uttaṅka’s Petition concerning Dhundhu (धुन्धु-प्रसङ्गः)

अथैनमेवं ब्रुवाणमब्रवीद्‌ राजा वामदेवाश्रमं प्रयाहीति स गत्वा वामदेवाश्रमं तमृषिमब्रवीत्‌,'सारथिके ऐसा कहनेपर राजाने उसे आज्ञा दी, “चलो वामदेवके आश्रमपर।' वामदेवके आश्रमपर पहुँचकर राजाने उन महर्षिसे कहा--

athaivam bruvāṇam enam abravīd rājā—vāmadevāśramaṃ prayāhīti; sa gatvā vāmadevāśramaṃ tam ṛṣim abravīt—

Mendengar demikian, raja memerintahkan, “Pergilah ke āśrama Vāmadeva.” Setelah tiba di pertapaan Vāmadeva, raja menyapa sang resi dan berkata—
