Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma

Educational Q&A

When collective thought and behavior turn contrary to dharma, it signals impending societal decline; unrighteous or culturally alienated rule is presented as a symptom of that inversion.

Vaiśampāyana describes ominous portents of degeneration: as people’s conduct becomes perverse, the world moves toward dissolution, and many mleccha rulers rise to power on earth.
