नैके युगसहस्रान्तास्त्वया दृष्टा महामुने । न चापीह सम: कश्रिदायुष्मान्‌ दृश्यते तव,“महामुने! आपने हजार-हजार युगोंके अन्तमें होनेवाले अनेक महाप्रलयके दृश्य देखे हैं। इस संसारमें आपके समान बड़ी आयुवाला दूसरा कोई पुरुष नहीं दिखायी देता

naike yugasahasrāntās tvayā dṛṣṭā mahāmune | na cāpīha samaḥ kaścid āyuṣmān dṛśyate tava ||

Wahai maharsi, engkau telah menyaksikan banyak pralaya besar yang terjadi pada akhir ribuan demi ribuan yuga; dan di dunia ini tak seorang pun tampak menyamai panjang umurmu.
