Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma

deva! tava śarīre devatā dānavā yakṣā rākṣasā gandharvā nāgāś ca samasta-sthāvara-jaṅgama-rūpaṃ jagad vidyamānam asti. tvatprasādāc ca me deva smṛtir na parihīyate; tvaritam antaḥśarīre te satataṃ parivartinaḥ, prabho, api me smaraṇaśaktir na naṣṭā.

Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes that the divine is all-encompassing—the entire cosmos abides within the Lord—and that spiritual experience is sustained by grace: even amid overwhelming, disorienting vision, the devotee’s smṛti (clear recollection and steadiness of mind) is preserved through the Lord’s favor.

Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates a speaker’s awe-filled address to a divine being whose body contains all orders of creatures and worlds. The speaker reports being carried and whirled within that inner cosmic form, yet, by the Lord’s grace, does not lose memory or composure.
