iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata-vanaparva-ke antargata-mārkaṇḍeyasamāsyāparva-me brāhmaṇa-māhātmya-varṇana-viṣayaka eka-śata-caurāśītamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
