Shloka 83

Sarasvatī–Tārkṣya Saṃvāda: Agnihotra-vidhi, Dāna-phala, and Mokṣa-prasaṅga (सरस्वती–तार्क्ष्यसंवादः)

जितेन्द्रियत्वाद्‌ वशिन: शुक्लत्वान्मन्दरोगिण: । अल्पाबाधपरित्रासाद भवन्ति निरुपद्रवा:,जितेन्द्रिय होनेके कारण वे मनको वशमें रखते हैं और सात््विक अन्त:करणके होनेके कारण नीरोग होते हैं। दुःख और त्रासके क्षीण होनेके कारण वे उपद्रवरहित होते हैं। विवेकी पुरुष गर्भसे गिरते, जन्म लेते अथवा गर्भमें ही रहते समय भी ज्ञानदृष्टिसे अपने-आपका और परमात्माका सर्वथा यथार्थ अनुभव करते हैं

jitendriyatvād vaśinaḥ śuklatvān mandarogiṇaḥ | alpābādha-paritrāsād bhavanti nirupadravāḥ ||

Karena menaklukkan indra, mereka menguasai batin. Karena kemurnian sāttvika dalam diri, mereka jarang tersentuh penyakit. Dan karena duka serta takut hampir tak menyapa, mereka hidup tanpa gangguan.
