इदमेवंविधं कस्माद् देवा नावासयन्त्युत । पुरंदरपुराद्धीदं विशिष्टमिति लक्षये,'सारथे! देवतालोग ऐसा नगर क्यों नहीं बसाते हैं? यह नगर तो मुझे इन्द्रपुरीसे भी बढ़कर दिखायी देता है”
arjuna uvāca | idam evaṃvidhaṃ kasmād devā nāvāsayanti uta | puraṃdara-purād dhīdaṃ viśiṣṭam iti lakṣaye, sārathe ||
Arjuna berkata: “Wahai sais kereta! Mengapa para dewa tidak mendirikan kota semacam ini? Bagiku, kota ini tampak lebih unggul bahkan daripada kota Purandara (Indra).”
