धारा दिवि च सम्बद्धा वसुधायां च सर्वश: । व्यामोहयन्त मां तत्र निपतन्त्योडनिशं भुवि,स्वर्गसे लेकर पृथ्वीतक एक सूत्रमें आबद्ध-सी होकर पृथ्वीपर सब ओर जलकी धाराएँ लगातार गिर रही थीं, जिन्होंने वहाँ मुझे मोहमें डाल दिया था
dhārā divi ca sambaddhā vasudhāyāṃ ca sarvaśaḥ | vyāmohayanta māṃ tatra nipatantyoḍaniśaṃ bhuvi ||
Dari surga hingga bumi, seakan terikat oleh satu benang, aliran-aliran air jatuh tanpa henti ke tanah di segala penjuru; derasnya yang tak putus-putus itu membuat pikiranku terbingungkan di sana.
