Shloka 56

दुरासदं दुष्प्रसहं सुरदानवराक्षसै: । अनुज्ञातस्त्वहं तेन तत्रैव समुपाविशम्‌,वह शत्रुओंका संहारक और विपक्षियोंकी सेनाका विध्वंसक है। उसकी प्राप्ति बहुत कठिन है। देवता, दानव तथा राक्षस किसीके लिये भी उसका वेग सहन करना अत्यन्त कठिन है। फिर भगवान्‌ शिवकी आज्ञा होनेपर मैं वहीं बैठ गया और वे मेरे देखते-देखते अन्तर्धान हो गये

durāsadaṁ duṣprasahaṁ suradānavarākṣasaiḥ | anujñātas tv ahaṁ tena tatraiva samupāviśam |

Arjuna berkata: “Ia (kekuatan/senjata ilahi itu) amat sukar didekati dan mustahil ditahan—bahkan oleh para dewa, Dānava, dan Rākṣasa. Setelah memperoleh izin beliau, aku duduk di tempat itu juga; dan di depan mataku Mahādewa pun lenyap dari pandangan.”
