Bhīma’s Entry into Kubera’s Nalinī and the Taking of Saugandhika Lotuses (सौगन्धिकोत्पल-ग्रहणम्)
pariṣvaktasya tasyāśu bhrātrā bhīmasya bhārata | śramo nāśamupāgacchat sarvaṃ cāsīt pradakṣiṇam ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Wahai Bhārata, begitu Bhīma dipeluk oleh saudaranya, lenyaplah seketika segala lelahnya, dan segala sesuatu tampak menguntungkan baginya.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the ethical and psychological power of familial support: sincere affection and reassurance can dispel exhaustion and restore a sense of auspicious direction, enabling one to face adversity with renewed steadiness.
Bhīma is embraced by his brother; immediately his weariness disappears, and he feels that circumstances have turned favorable—an emotional turning point conveyed by the word ‘pradakṣiṇam’ (auspicious, going well).
