अध्याय १४९ — हनूमतो महद्रूपदर्शनं तथा धर्म-नीति-उपदेशः

ततो वानरकोटीभि: सहितो<हं नरर्षभ । सीतां मार्गन् महाबाहो प्रयातो दक्षिणां दिशम्,नरश्रेष्ठ॒ महाबाहो! उस समय करोड़ों वानरोंके साथ मैं भी सीताजीका पता लगाता हुआ दक्षिण दिशाकी ओर गया
tato vānarakoṭībhiḥ sahito 'haṃ nararṣabha | sītāṃ mārgan mahābāho prayāto dakṣiṇāṃ diśam ||
Kemudian, wahai yang terbaik di antara manusia, wahai yang berlengan perkasa, bersama pasukan vānarā berjumlah berjuta-juta aku pun berangkat mencari Sītā menuju arah selatan.
