Educational Q&A

The verse highlights steadfastness and responsible strength: Bhīma urges the king not to succumb to despair and takes upon himself the practical duty of escorting and protecting the vulnerable members of the group—an ethical model of leadership through service and courage.

In the forest setting of the Vana Parva, Bhīma addresses the king (Yudhiṣṭhira), assuring him that he will personally lead/escort him along with Draupadī and the twin brothers (Nakula and Sahadeva), and he counsels the king to abandon grief.
