यवक्रीत-वधः

The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage

ततः समभवद्‌ रक्षो घोराक्षं भीमदर्शनम्‌ । अब्रूतां तौ तदा रैभ्यं कि कार्य करवावहै,उससे एक राक्षस प्रकट हुआ, जिसकी आँखें बड़ी डरावनी थीं। वह देखनेमें बड़ा भयानक प्रतीत होता था। उस समय उन दोनोंने रैभ्य मुनिसे पूछा--“'हम आपकी किस आज्ञाका पालन करें?”

tataḥ samabhavad rakṣo ghorākṣaṃ bhīmadarśanam | abrūtāṃ tau tadā raibhyaṃ kiṃ kāryaṃ karavāvahai ||

Kemudian tampaklah seorang rākṣasa, bermata mengerikan dan menakutkan dipandang. Saat itu keduanya berkata kepada resi Raibhya, “Tugas apa yang harus kami lakukan?”
