वालुकामुष्टिमनिशं भागीरथ्यां व्यसर्जयत् । सेतुमभ्यारभच्छक्रो यवक्रीतं निदर्शयन्,वे निरन्तर एक-एक मुट्ठी बालू गंगाजीमें छोड़ते थे और इस प्रकार उन्होंने यवक्रीतको दिखाकर पुल बाँधनेका कार्य आरम्भ कर दिया
vālukā-muṣṭim aniśaṃ bhāgīrathyāṃ vyasarjayat | setum abhyārabhac chakro yavakrītaṃ nidarśayan ||
Ia tanpa henti melemparkan segenggam demi segenggam pasir ke Bhāgīrathī; dan sambil menunjuk Yavakrīta sebagai teladan, Śakra mulai mengerjakan pembangunan tanggul-jembatan.

Great results can begin from small, repeated efforts; when one follows a worthy example and acts with steady resolve, even a vast task (like building a causeway) becomes possible.
Lośa describes Indra continuously throwing handfuls of sand into the Gaṅgā (Bhāgīrathī) and thereby initiating the construction of a bridge, while presenting Yavakrīta as an illustrative example.
