ततस्तस्य महाराज जमदमग्नेर्महात्मन: । कोपो< भ्यगच्छत्‌ सहसा प्रसन्नश्चाब्रवीदिदम्‌,महाराज! इससे महात्मा जमदग्निका कोप सहसा शान्त हो गया और उन्होंने प्रसन्न होकर कहा--

tatas tasya mahārāja jamadagner mahātmanaḥ | kopo 'bhyagacchat sahasā prasannaś cābravīd idam ||

Kemudian, wahai raja agung, amarah sang resi mulia Jamadagni seketika mereda. Ia menjadi tenang dan berkenan, lalu berkata demikian—
