त्रिदशांश्षाप्पबाधन्त तथा गन्धर्वराक्षसान्‌ | सर्वाणि चैव भूतानि शूरा: समरशालिन:,समरभूमिमें शोभा पानेवाले वे शूरवीर राजकुमार देवताओं, गन्धर्वों, राक्षसों तथा सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंको कष्ट दिया करते थे

tridaśān śāpabādhanta tathā gandharvarākṣasān | sarvāṇi caiva bhūtāni śūrāḥ samarśālinaḥ ||

Para pangeran gagah itu—yang tampak gemilang di medan laga—mengganggu bahkan para dewa, juga Gandharva dan Rākṣasa; sungguh, mereka menimpakan derita kepada segala makhluk.
